By region: West Coast: $5.13 (up 26.6%) Rocky Mountain: $4.23 (up 34.3%) Central Atlantic: $4.09 (up 30.9%) New England: $4.02 (up 31.9%) Midwest: $3.89 (up 28.6%) Lower Atlantic: $3.77 (up 29.4%) Gulf Coast: $3.61 (up 32.9%) The average price for diesel no.2 was $5.46 in August 2026, up 10.2% from July 2026, and up 45.9% from August 2025.
